Holiday Wish #2: Gather ‘Round Our Tables!

November 21, 2018

In the second part to my "Holiday Wish" blog series, I'm spilling on all the tasty events coming up over the holidays. Treat the kids to a meal with Santa. Sip on craft beer and shop for holiday gifts. Indulge in sinful offerings from our favorite local restaurants. Last weekend officially kicked off our holiday season here, and we have so many reasons to celebrate through the end of the year. So here's my second holiday wish for you and yours: to gather 'round our tables!

Over the next month, you'll find Cumberland County placing a big emphasis on #lovelocal and #shopsmall. Another local blogger, The MrsTee, has put together two helpful guides for our visitors and residents to reference when making their shopping plans here. For a list of options in the Town of Hope Mills, check out her "The Hope Mills, NC Shop Small Business Saturday Guide." Downtown Fayetteville's biggest shopportunity of the year is this Saturday, November 24th, and another The MrsTee blog, "Your Official Shop Small Business Saturday Guide — Fayetteville, NC," highlights many deals and specials you don't want to miss there. For even more options—from chain stores to boutiques to thrift shops—refer to the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau's (FACVB) Shopping site.

In last week's blog, I shared a list of holiday light shows, festive runs, and more outdoor happenings; read more about those delightful events on "Holiday Wish #1: Savor the Season Outdoors!". You'll also find those holiday events and much more on the FACVB's Calendar of Events.
