Things To Do

artsFREE THINGS TO DO

Pictured is just one of the many FREE things to see, do and experience in Fayetteville and Cumberland County. Formerly the old site of a United States Post Office and a public library, this building now houses the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County. It features local and regional passportartists and hosts numerous free art events for the community. We have got a list full of attractions, parks and more to do that are completely FREE. Click HERE for the comprehensive list.

A great way to explore some of the region’s top attractions is to pick up a “Passport to America’s Hometown.” This free, handy tool brings you to 12 of the region’s top attractions, where you receive a stamp unique to that location. Pick up yours at one of our three visitor centers during regular business hours.

DRIVING TRAILS

Trails: With over 750 miles of themed driving trails, it is safe to say America’s Hometown is steeped in history. Whether expCaptureloring the Cape Fear Botanical Garden on the All-American Adventure trail, taking in a live theatre production at the Cape Fear Regional Theatre on the Patri-Arts & Gardens trail or witnessing a parachute jump at Fort Bragg on the Patriots: Past & Present Trail, Fayetteville/Cumberland County has the perfect route planned for whatever your interest might be. Learn more on our Cultural Heritage Trails Website: www.FayettevilleNCTrails.com
